Economic Assessment of Commercial Turkey and Broiler Farming in Bangladesh: An Application of Binary Probit Model

A comprehensive and comparative study of Broiler Turkey has been undertaken in Bangladesh focusing on the stability issues. The data collected analyzed STATA descriptive statistics. Major findings this indicate high gross net return 12.32 lac 3.98 respectively although because low cost over per Taka investment or BCR (undiscounted) was calculated found 2.227 & 1.47. also revealed that farmer’s age, education level had a positive significant effect experience, occupation, link with extension services, timely vaccination negative choosing production (turkey = 1 0). core hindrance industry inefficiency marketing, veterinary training facilities turning sudden fall demand, discouraged adopt farming. Although both species more less profitable, documented risk, therefore investing could be plan addressing shortage animal protein supply as means increasing farm income.
